Refund Policy
This policy explains when you may cancel, when a refund is due, and how to ask for one. It sits alongside my Terms & Conditions.
Last updated 1 August 2026
1. Your right to cancel
As a consumer you have the right to cancel within 14 days of purchase. Because a Parent Concern Snapshot is written personally for your family, by asking me to begin you agree that I may start work within that period. If I have already begun, a fair deduction may be made for the work done, and once your Snapshot has been delivered the right to cancel no longer applies.
2. Before you submit your questionnaire
If you have paid but have not yet submitted your Parent Concern Questionnaire, and no work has begun, write to me and I will refund you in full.
3. After you submit your questionnaire
Once your questionnaire is with me, preparation begins: your information is read, analysed and written up personally. From that point a full refund is no longer automatic, because the work you paid for is being carried out. If you change your mind at this stage, tell me and I will consider a partial refund reflecting the work already done.
4. If something has gone wrong
If your Snapshot is not delivered, is delivered materially late without explanation, or does not reflect what you told me, tell me and I will put it right. If I cannot put it right to your reasonable satisfaction, I will refund you.
- Tell me what is wrong, in writing, within 20 days of receiving your Snapshot.
- I will respond within 5 working days.
- Where a correction is possible, I will issue a corrected Snapshot at no charge.
- Where it is not, I will refund you in full or in part, as is fair in the circumstances.
5. What is not refundable
A Snapshot cannot be refunded because you disagree with its professional content, because it does not reach a conclusion you hoped for, or because a school or local authority responds differently to how you expected. A Snapshot is an educational opinion, honestly given; it is not a guarantee of any particular outcome.
6. How refunds are made
Refunds are made through my payment provider to the card or account used for the original payment. I do not hold your card details. Once approved, a refund is issued within 5 working days and usually reaches you within 5 to 10 working days depending on your bank.
7. How to request a refund
Write to me at support@parentinsight.co.uk with your name, your child's first name and the date of purchase, and tell me what you are asking for and why. Every request is read personally. Last updated 1 August 2026.
